Leadership today is being shaped by more than titles, technology or corporate success. Increasingly, conversations around wellbeing, inclusion, allyship and the ability to navigate rapid technological change are becoming central to what effective leadership means.

These themes took centre stage at the Women of the Channel Leadership Summit Asia 2026, where Catherine Grace Gardner Khan, Creative Artistic Director of Cosmos Global Resources, represented the Cosmos Foundation alongside prominent business and technology leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Held on September 9 at the Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore, the summit was organised by The Channel Company and CRN Asia. The event brought together established women leaders, emerging talent and industry advocates for a day of conversations focused on leadership, professional development and building a more inclusive technology ecosystem.

Gardner-Khan's participation placed the Cosmos Foundation within a regional conversation that went beyond the traditional boundaries of the technology sector. Discussions throughout the summit addressed some of the challenges and opportunities increasingly defining the modern workplace, from burnout and wellbeing to gender equity, sustainability and the changing role of artificial intelligence.

The programme featured keynote sessions on burnout and fear in leadership, followed by executive panels examining women's role in sustainability, the importance of men as allies in advancing gender equity, and the implications of AI for leadership and the workplace.

Gardner-Khan said she was proud to represent the Cosmos Foundation at an event dedicated to strengthening women's voices and leadership across Asia.

Her presence at the summit also reflected the Foundation's broader commitment to meaningful dialogue, social progress and engagement with initiatives that empower individuals and communities across the region.

The event concluded with the keynote 'The Power of Pain: Reframing Struggle, Strength and the Need to Listen to Our Bodies', bringing the conversation back to an often-overlooked dimension of leadership, the relationship between resilience, personal struggle and wellbeing.

With leadership increasingly intersecting with questions of technology, sustainability, inclusion and personal wellbeing, the summit provided a platform for examining how the next generation of leaders can shape workplaces that are not only more innovative, but also more equitable and human-centred.
