A mild heat wave is currently sweeping across Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Kushtia, and Rangamati, and it is likely to persist in the coming days, affecting the daily comfort levels in these areas, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department's (BMD) latest weather bulletin on Sunday.
Rain and thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty and squally winds, are likely to occur at one or two places in Sylhet Division. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain dry with a partly cloudy sky, it said.
The day temperatures may experience a slight increase, while night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged, added the bulletin.
