Nancy Ajram was born on May 16 1983, in Beirut, Lebanon. With the encouragement of her father, she began her career as a child.

Nancy Ajram sang on certain television shows as a child. At 13, in 1996 Nancy Ajram released her first single "Kel Ma B'ello B Albi El Gheere". A year later Nancy Ajram released her second single "Oulha Kelma".

At 15 Nancy Ajram received a record deal with EMI. Nancy Ajram released her first album Mihtagalak at 15 in 1998. She released her second album Sheel Oyoonak Anni in 2001 and released her third album titled Ya Salam, in 2003. Nancy Ajram released her fourth album, Ah W Noss on April 14 2004. The album was very successful which turned her into a great singer in the Arab world. Nancy Ajram's fifth album, Ya Tabtab... Wa Dallaa was released on February 21 2006. She next worked on the film Caramel, which premiered on May 20 2007, at Cannes Film Festival. In 2007 Nancy Ajram released the single El Donia Helwa and next album Shakhbat Shakhabit was released on June 11 2007. This is an album for children. Nancy Ajram next released her album Betfakkar Fi Eih on July 30 2008. This is among Nancy Ajram's greatest albums. This album is also Nancy Ajram's bestselling album up to date. Next Nancy Ajram released five more albums after Betfakkar Fi Eih. They are: Nancy 7, Super Nancy, Nancy 8, Nancy 9 (Hassa Beek), and Nancy 10. Nancy 7 was released on September 6 2010.

Super Nancy is the second children's album by Nancy Ajram. Super Nancy was released on September 13 2012. Nancy 8 was released on March 21 2014. Nancy 9 (Hassa Beek) was released on April 21 2017. Nancy 10 was released on July 10 2021. Nancy Ajram has been a judge at Arab Idol for season 2, season 3, and season 4. For The Voice Kids: Ahla Sawt, Nancy Ajram was a judge from 2016 to 2020.

Nancy Ajram was a patient of Lebanese dentist Fadi El Hachem. Nancy Ajram dated Fadi El Hachem from 2005 to 2008. On September 1 2008 Nancy Ajram married Fadi El Hachem in Cyprus. Nancy Ajram gave birth to her first daughter on May 16 2009. On April 23 2011 Nancy Ajram gave birth to her second daughter. On January 30 2019 she gave birth to her third daughter.
