Giasuddin Selim the director of hit film “Monpura” has finished his second production “Shwapnajal.” He has also got a release date. The film will be released on February 9, 2018. The film is currently headed for the censor board. It also needs to be added that Selim’s film “Monpura” was also released in the month of February. The film got released on February 13 in 2009. The shooting of the second film “Shwapnajal” also started in February this year. Thus it appears that February has become a lucky charm for him. Hopefully this charm will also blossom when the film gets released next year. The film revolves around fishing communities of Chadpur. It has also been shot in Kokata, India. Like the previous time Selim hopes this new film will too cater for the artistic taste popular among Bangladeshi viewers.

In the first film Selim also took a risk with debutants of the silver screen Chanchal Chowdhury and Farhana Mili. The risky hunch worked marvelously. This time too he is taking a risk with the choice of lead actors bringing glamorous actress Porimoni into the artistic genre. Newbie Rohan will also play the role of lead male character in the film. Other actors include established icons like Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahed Ali, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Iresh Zaker, Misha Sawdagor and more.
