Animesh Aich’s ‘Voyangkor Sundor’ premiered

Based on Moti Nandi’s short story titled ‘Joler Ghurni O Bokbok Shobdo’, Voyangkor Sundor is now on at 28 cineplexes in the country. Though there are at least a hundred more cineplexes in the country for Bangla films, the director Animesh Aich has selected a few ones deliberately for commercial reasons. He claims that he wants to evaluate the reception among viewers first before going for full scale screening. The number of halls will be increased every week according to viewers’ anticipation, the director claims about his second feature film.


The story revolves around an unusual love story between a pampered girl who ran away from her home and a porter of a hotel. The film casts Tollywood star Parambrata Chatterjee and local noted actress Ashna Habib Bhabna in lead roles.


The film also casts Syed Hasan Imam, Khairul Alam Sobuj, Lutfor Rahman George, Farhan Mithu, Faruk Ahmed, Shilpi Sarker Apu, Allen Shuvro and Mahmudul Islam.


Information minister Hasanul Haque Inu attended the premiere show as chief guest. Among others, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Animesh Aich were present on the occasion.
