A group art exhibition in honour of the late artist Sayed Zakir Iqbal is now on at Dhaka Art Centre in Dhanmondi.
The exhibition features the works of Group 61 (an organisation of the former students of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University). Noted sculptor and watercolourist Professor Hamiduzzaman Khan inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest on July 13. Suman Bhattacharjee, human resources director of Citycell; Taslim Ahmed, head of corporate communications and public relations of Citycell; and cartoonist Shishir Bhattacharya were present as special guests at the opening programme. The exhibition has been sponsored by Citycell.
The exhibition will continue till July 19.
